Strengthening Our Fishery Since 1988
The Percy Priest Hybrid & Striper Club is dedicated to protecting and improving Middle Tennessee’s fishing community. We partner directly with the local hatchery, providing high‑quality food that helps stock our waters with healthy hybrid and striped bass. Over the years, our efforts have added hundreds of thousands of fish to Percy Priest Lake.
We’re also a community of anglers who love sharing the sport. Through family‑friendly tournaments, events, and education, we help people of all ages get out on the water and enjoy the outdoors.
More members mean a stronger fishery — and we’d love to have you with us.
What Our Club Is All About
We hold monthly meetings — a chance to catch up, swap stories, and talk fishing. From there, we cover club business, upcoming tournaments, and include educational segments designed to help everyone grow, from seasoned anglers to total beginners.
Beyond our meetings, we love spending time together. Our cookouts and BBQs bring members and families together, and our games and auctions are a fun way to pick up great gear while supporting the club. Our annual Swap Meet is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and every dollar goes toward a cause we care deeply about: adding more fish to our waterways.
And we don’t just talk about taking care of the lake — we put in the work. During our most recent lake cleanup, members hauled away over 100 bags of trash, making Percy Priest cleaner, safer, and more enjoyable for everyone.
Fishing Tournaments & Friendly Competition
The club hosts monthly fishing competitions on Percy Priest Lake, the Cumberland River, and other nearby waters, giving members a chance to test their skills and enjoy some friendly rivalry. For new anglers, these tournaments are one of the best ways to learn — real‑time experience, hands‑on guidance, and a supportive group that loves helping people grow in the sport.
