About the Percy Priest Hybrid and Striper Club
Our Mission
Since 1988, the Percy Priest Hybrid and Striper Club has worked diligently to promote and improve fishing in the mid Tennessee region. We deliver high quality food directly to the hatchery, which in turn stocks local waters with our target fish. Our efforts have led to hundreds of thousands of fish being added over the years. And as our membership grows fishing improves! We also strive to educate fishermen and do our part to get folks out on the water. Our many events, fishing tournaments, and fundraisers are family friendly, and we have a lot of fun along the way.
Events
We hold monthly fishing club meetings, beginning with a “social hour”, where we discuss business, upcoming fishing tournaments, and share stories. They also include educational segments, which can help experienced anglers and true beginners alike. Our cookouts and BBQs offer a chance to spend more time together. And we have games and auctions where you can get some great gear! The annual Swap Meet is our largest fundraiser. And it is all for a great cause, adding fish to our waterways.
Fishing Tournaments
The club holds monthly fishing competitions, on Percy Priest Lake, the Cumberland River and other nearby waters, where you can test your fishing skills against other members. If you are a new angler, these are a great way to learn the ropes in a real time adventure! The 2024 schedule of fishing club events will be posted very shortly.
